Mackinac Island, Michigan

I've always wanted to visit Mackinac Island at the very top of Michigan,
and last summer we finally made it!
An island that's only accessible by ferry boat and there are no vehicles on the island.
The well-mantained old homes are everywhere...

The flowers were out of this world! I guess it's all the horse manure lol

The building of the Grand Hotel is an amazing story in itself...

Have you ever been to Mackinac Island?

Here's where I'll be sharing:

  1. Suzy, I've been to Mackinac Island several times. Love it! I'd love to go again. We've stayed at the Grand Hotel and a couple of other nice hotels. My favorite things to do: the self-drive horse and carriage and renting a bike and taking the road all around the island. And, of course, all the flowers!

  3. Suzy, We've been to the island numerous times and never get tired of it. Our youngest son and his wife married on the island and rode off in a white carriage. It was beautiful!
