Blue in the flowerbeds...
blue wallpaper and accessories,
Every gift anyone gave me was some shade of blue!
But there came a point when I felt like I was on blue overload
and it's taken a few years to bring other colors into my decor.
This plate belonged to my maternal grandmother.
She was born in 1877, so I'm sure this plate is at least 100 years old!
I proudly display it and just love the humor in the verse.
I'm joining in over @ "The Dedicated House" for Anything Blue Friday...stop on over for all the blue!
And more linky parties:
Talk of the town
Keep it simple
Make it pretty monday
Blue Salvia is always a favorite of mine in the garden... I never buy enough. ;) That plate is too funny! Love it!! What a treasure to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping Diane!I have so much yellow and pink in my flower beds.I wish there were more blue options.
DeleteI love your blue flowers! I'm so glad we were in Texas just over a week ago and saw bluebonnets because right now it's snowing outside where we live. Can't wait for flower season in Michigan!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see those bluebonnets in full bloom! I have a niece living in Abilene, so maybe some day!....It snowed here in Pittsburgh yesterday too.
