Quick and Easy Window Lights

Are you tired of the time and work it takes to hang Christmas lights in your windows? Not to mention the mess with tape or hooks?
I guess I sound like a tv commercial lol!!
But I found a fast and easy way to get the job done.

First, I bought two white adjustable spring tension rods for each window... for less than $2.00 each.

Then for each window, I looped the lights around the rods and placed one at the top and on at the bottom. I used a 100 light string for the window above and placed them in a zigzag pattern. Adjust the tension of the rods for a snug fit.

When the blinds are let down, the rods are hidden, inside and out!

    2. Mwah, I keep it simple. This Friday we give gifts (the Christmas holiday is starting that day). Qua decoration, I just like you have a 100 light string . Along a steel "beam" in the living room and now I have the candle bridge (last blog). I love it. That's all. No special meal. I am baking delicious sweets for children and cheesecake. We have two Christmas days here. Often we go to family. You?

    3. In America we do plenty of decorating and usually have a special meal on Christmas. My siblings and their grown children and spouses will be coming to my house this year for Christmas Dinner... We will exchange gifts. Do you have a Christmas tree?

    1. That's true! I have plenty of lights throughout the house. I love how it brightens up these dreary days of winter.

  4. This is such a clever way to decorate the window with lights. The rod on the bottom keeps the lights taunt and they don't bunch up at all. Pinning for future use.
