Stunning Architecture...

I have always loved photographing beautiful old houses! The lines and detail of these structures are so appealing with their peaks and curves...not to mention the  huge porches that streeeeetch across the whole front of the house.

There are at least three floors, and I can just imagine the old oak molding inside...pocket doors and spiral staircases....such timeless treasures.

Indiana, Pennsylvania

Sometime ago, Jack and I went on a day trip to Indiana, Pa. We wanted
to visit Amish country, with its unique shops and restaurants and take some photos of the countryside. We stopped to ask for directions and the ol'e gentleman told us that just up ahead was the childhood home of Jimmy Stewart. (It's a Wonderful Life). I love the castle effect and the large round porch!

When we got to town, we took the tour
 of the Jimmy Stewart museum.
Very interesting!

Pictured below is a U.S. postage stamp honoring him and the museum is built on the spot where his father's hardware store was located.

Indiana was worth the visit!
