LABELS

A gaggle...

"Two sounds of Autumn are unmistakable,
the hurrying rustle of crisp leaves blown along the street or road by a gusty wind, and a flock of migrating geese.
Both are warnings of chill days ahead, fireside and topcoat weather."
- Hal Borland

  1. Not too many mornings ago while outside with Willie (the dog) I heard what sounded like dogs in the far distance, but the sound was coming ever so close and changing drastically. Willie stopped dead still, and I couldn't help but look up as two separate flocks of geese barely made it over the treetops. I felt like, if I reached as high as I could, the tips of my fingers would brush the feathers of their underbellies. Willie and I stood in silent awe for several minutes after the passover. It was sight I will not soon forget.
