  1. Great photo. When this happened to me in Hawaii one of the birds wouldn't get off my shoulder. It climbed on my head and down my back when the owner tried to get it (and back again). My wife tried to brush it off me which set him off. After a small crowd gathered he decided to go back with his person. Memorable for me to say the least.

  7. Great photo! Sometimes those birds bit though. We were in Cancun one year and I held the birds and the darned thing bit my hand!

    Your flowers are so pretty still. I HAVE to get one of the butterfly bushes!!!! I would love to lure more butterflies into my garden. I didn't know what a hummingbird moth was until now! I had one this summer and didn't have a clue what it was but from the front it looked just like a hummingbird. Now I know! Thanks!!!

    You know I thought your blog name was bloomers as in old fashioned under garments!! I didn't think of it as being blooming things like flowers! ha!ha!ha! DUH!!!! Glad I FINALLY caught on.
