DIY Foaming hand soap

We girls all know how easy it is to step into Bath and Body Works and lose control.......every label is prettier than the last and those scents draw you into a sniffing frenzy. Before you know it, you're walking out with a shopping bag on your arm! I admit that I've done it... but now I've started making my own foaming hand soap and shower gel. It's easy and stretches the budget.

DIY Foaming hand soap
What you'll need:
* CLEAR hand soap (any brand... Dial, Softsoap, store brand)
*   warm water
*  empty foaming soap dispenser...I save my empty Bath and Body bottles.

Directions:
Fill the empty container with one inch of soap. Add warm water slowly to one inch from the top to leave room for the pump.
Shake gently to mix.

Pump a few times for foam and you're done! How easy is that?  The large containers of hand soap cost about three or four dollars and can make plenty of refills.

 I like to use lemon scented dish soap to make mine for the kitchen sink.

DIY Foaming Shower Gel
What you'll need:
* Clear shower gel works best to create foam.
* warm water
* empty foaming soap dispenser
Directions:
Fill the empty container with one inch of soap. Add warm water slowly to one inch from the top to leave room for the pump.
Shake gently to mix.
Enjoy!.....and save money.

    1. Yes, Angie....I agree! If you just buy one of those jugs of clear Dial, you could make about a zillion bottles the size of B&B.
